Post Formed Shutters
Flexible decorative laminates (MICA sheets) are machine pressed on Plywood, MDF or Particle boards. They are factory made using high pressure press technology. They do not require edge banding as laminate is pressed on the edges to give a uniform look through out the kitchen shutter. About 200 different shades are available in the market to choose from. Post formed laminates are slightly different in the way they are manufactured as compared to conventionally produced laminates. Post forming laminates are made to allow a certain degree of bending, so as to make way for the laminate material to become flexible. On the other hand, traditionally manufactured laminates are comparatively tougher to work with as they have a greater degree of stiffness and are much greater in girth. This makes it difficult to use in certain scenarios that require higher amounts of manoeuvrability.

Natural Wood Shutters
Natural wood like teak, Walnut, oak, rubber wood is used as the interior shutter material and the exterior surface is polished with water-proof polish using spray guns to give a rich look to the kitchen shutters. Natural wood shutters are very expensive and not an Eco friendly option. The natural grains in the wood give a highly aesthetic look to the shutters. Also different shade of Teak, Rosewood finish can be applied on rubber wood boards to give a feel of teak wood.

Veneered Kitchen Shutters
Veneers are thin slices of natural wood glued on to plywood boards and water proof polished which give a natural wood finish to your kitchen shutters. Membrane shutters for the kitchen are again gaining popularity, perhaps because of widely circulated membrane shutters photos on the internet. It is more widely used in many western countries and has more design appeal than laminate plain shutters.

Painted Shutters
The interior shutters are painted with Auto coat paints on the base and a coat of Polyurethane clear coating is applied for water proofing. The look of painted shutter would depend upon the skill level of the painters.
